After nearly five inches of rain fell in Marshall in the month of March, more than three more inches of precipitation were recorded at the KMMO Studio in April.

According to statistics from the National Weather Service, March’s total was 4.91 inches. In April, rain totaled 3.05 inches. The most precipitation- 1.30 inches- fell on April 30. Also, 57-hundredths of an inch fell on April 6. Measurable precipitation was recorded on 11 of the 30 days in the month.

As for temperatures, the average high increased from 55.9 degrees in March to 62.9 degrees in April. The high of 86 degrees was registered on April 23.

The average low temperature was 32.9 degrees in March and 40.3 degrees in April. The low of 27 degrees was registered on both April 1 and 2.
