During his report at the Marshall City Council meeting this week, City Administrator JD Kehrman said the Great Circle Board of Directors came to him and asked if there is any organization interested in making a proposal for the site.

Kehrman said the facilities are in great shape.

Kehrman concluded, “Obviously, we have an interest in not letting those buildings deteriorate and continuing the tradition of service that’s been carried on out there for many, many years.”

Great Circle announced in April that it is ending the operation of its residential treatment program and therapeutic education services on the Tom Butterfield Campus in Marshall by May 31, at the completion of the school year.
