Another Johnson County Household Hazardous Waste Collection event is scheduled to be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 13.

County officials say some materials will not be accepted- such as explosives; ammunition; tires; latex paint; asbestos; smoke alarms; radioactive waste; unlabeled items; and medical waste (human or animal).

You can drop off items at the site at 326 East North Street in Warrensburg. You should look for the red building across from the Johnson County Road and Bridge Department.
