The Missouri Small Business Development Center (MOSBDC) at State Fair Community College will host, at no cost, a one-hour webinar that addresses and focuses on risk mitigation, unexpected disruptions and planning needed for business sustainability and success.

A news release says the webinar Business Recovery, Resiliency and Growth will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on May 31.

This course is available only for residents in Johnson, Pettis, Saline, and Lafayette counties. Registration is required and seating is limited. The webinar link will be provided after registration.

In times of crisis and uncertainty, small businesses must remain agile and proactive in decision-making to ensure long-term stability and recovery. Participants will learn how to identify key resources, employees, goals, and threats. How to plan for impacts and threats, how to implement the plan and strategies for recovering will be covered.

Kelly Dyer, Certified Business Resiliency Manager, is the featured consultant. Dyer has a master’s in business administration from Iowa State University, Ivy College of Business. Pioneer Trails Regional Planning Commission is a co-sponsor with MOSBDC.
