Lafayette County is holding a countywide cleanup and recycling event from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 4 in Mayview.

The items will be collected at 406 West Marshall in Mayview. Items can only be accepted by residents of Lafayette County.

The items that will be accepted include furniture, clothes, E-waste, bulk debris, and two appliances per home. Tires can also be collected at the cost of $2 per tire for the first four, and an additional $5 per tire for more than four.

Household hazardous waste will not be accepted at the community cleanup. Lafayette County holds household hazardous waste collection events the third Saturday of every month.
