Beginning at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, and continuing through 8 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, the Sedalia Public Works Department will be painting roadway markings between Main Street and 7th Street on South Ohio Avenue.

City officials say completing the work in the overnight hours is intended to keep impact to businesses and customers coming to the downtown area during business hours to a minimum.

Travelers may want to avoid these areas, as workers and equipment will be in the roadways and lane restrictions will occur.
