The Slater City Council discussed two upcoming events during its meeting on Tuesday, May 17.

Mayor Stephen Allegri gave an update on the Slater Wine Festival and the Steve McQueen Car Show.

The Slater Wine Festival is scheduled to be held from 4 to 11 p.m. Saturday, May 21. The Steve McQueen Car Show is scheduled for June 18.

Allegri also announced they would have to raise the fees for the Slater Swimming Pool.

The pool is scheduled to be open from 1 to 6 p.m. each day during the summer.
