The Saline County Composite Squadron of the United States Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol is scheduled to host the annual Memorial Day Observance Service at 10 a.m. Monday, May 30 on the southeast corner of the Marshall Square at the Veteran’s Memorial.

United States Army Command Sergeant Major Larry Godsey is the scheduled speaker for this observance.

The American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Color Guard and the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Color Guard are presenting the colors for the ceremony under the direction of Cadet CPT Nicholas Medrano. Wreaths will be laid in honor of all veterans by the local American Legion Auxiliary and the Marshall Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) as it presents a spoke remembrance to those in attendance.

Everyone is invited to attend. Arrow Street is scheduled to be blocked off to regular traffic beginning at 9:30 a.m. until the close of the service. You are advised to bring your own chair.
