More than two dozen bricks honoring U.S. Veterans were installed in the sidewalk at the Saline County Courthouse in Marshall over the weekend.

According to former Saline County Northern District Commissioner Charlie Guthrie, 30 Veterans bricks were added to the Veterans’ Memory Walk Of Honor on the north side of the courthouse on Saturday, May 28.

The next time Veterans’ bricks will be placed will be before Veterans’ Day in November.

Bricks cost $50 each. Brick applications are available in the Recorder’s, Collector’s and Treasurer’s offices at the courthouse; from Ed Reis at Wood & Huston Bank; at Dale Zank’s Insurance office; or by contacting Guthrie at (660) 631-9355.
