Music, food and fun are planned for the first-ever “Return to the Roost” celebration in Marshall on Friday, June 10, and Saturday, June 11, on the Marshall Square.

A Block Party is scheduled on Saturday, including an acoustical jam beginning at 4:30 p.m.

At 6 p.m., Randy Clemons, of the Class of ’71, and the Stanhope Rock and Soul Revue will perform; followed at 8:30 p.m. the ’80s/’90s Tribute Band- “Members Only”.

Beverages will be available from several vendors- including The Leaning Side, Holiday Lanes, Montague’s, Carrollton Shriners, Bud’s Cafe Outdoor Bar and the United Way.

Some food trucks also will be available, including Sid’s Snacks, Tres Amigos, Riley’s Rollin’ Kitchen, Fresh Lemonade Co. and The Patty Wagon.

In addition, several restaurants on the square or in the vicinity include: The Brick BBQ, Bud’s Cafe, Chemistry Coffee, China Inn, Joan’s Drive In, The Leaning Side, Los Compitas, Montague’s, Patty Cake’s Patio Taco Bar, Rolla’s Kitchen & Outdoor Grill and S&P Diner.
