Staffing shortages in the Municipal Services Department will result in some changes to curbside pickup.

A news release says the following changes will take effect beginning Monday, June 13th, 2022:

• Residential curbside recycling pick up is suspended until further notice. Residents are encouraged to drop off recyclable items at the Recycling Center located at 765 W. North St., from 7am to 8pm, Mon-Sun.
• Residential curbside brush pick up is suspended until further notice. Residents may drop off brush at the Compost Area located at 26523 245th Rd. (660-886-3772).
• To better accommodate residents, the Compost Area hours will be extended on Mondays and Fridays from 7am to 7pm. (Hours remain 7am to 4pm on Tue, Wed, Thu, & Sat.)

Residential curbside yard waste pick up will continue and residents are reminded that brush may not be intermingled with grass clippings and leaves.
