The Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Public Works considered bids for several projects during its meeting on Thursday, June 16.
The board accepted a $25,592 bid from Associated Door Corporation of Sedalia for two overhead doors in the filter building that were damaged in a flood.
The approval is pending more safety information. The replacement is part of the FEMA project, so it is reported that there should be 90 percent reimbursement on the purchase.
The board also approved the Vehicle Operations Policy and the MMU Cash Reserve Policy. Updates to the policies were discussed in previous meetings and finally approved.
In other news, the board rejected a bid for a utility task vehicle (UTV) due to it being over the $25,000 budget. The board plans to revise the bid and request again at a later date.
