Ruth E. Napier, age 68, of Marshall, died Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO.

Memorial graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 2022, at Fairview Cemetery in Marshall, with Pastor Ralph Varner officiating. Memorials are suggested to North Street United Methodist Church or Fairview Cemetery in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Born January 24, 1954, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late John Phillip Napier Sr. and Jean Ella Mason Napier. She was a 1972 graduate of Marshall High School and returned to Marshall in 2016, moving from San Diego, CA. She loved playing softball, bowling, participating in dart tournaments, watching NBA basketball and NASCAR, and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Survivors include two sisters, Katherine “Kat” VanBuren (Elmer) of Marshall and Deborah Napier (Daniel) of Denver, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by one brother, John P. Napier Jr; and two sisters, Gloria Collins and Barbara Napier.
