
The town of Norborne currently is fourth in the voting for the Small Town Showcase presented by Missouri Humanities.
According to town officials, the five towns that receive the most votes will be showcased in several ways, which include:
— A three- to five-minute video about the community, shot on site;
— An hour-long roundtable-style podcast;
— A feature in the Missouri Humanities’ biannual publication, MoHumanities; and
— A highlight reel featuring all five communities to be shown during Missouri Humanities’ annual gala.
According to unofficial vote totals- as of Wednesday, June 29- Carl Junction had received 6,014 votes, Seymour 5,154, St. James 3,765, Norborne 3,200 and Doniphan 3,179. Hermann was next on the list with 2,680 votes.
