The Missouri Department of Transportation has planned general highway maintenance and construction work in several counties in the KMMO listening area for the week of July 4 – 10.
Most routine work zones will stop for the Independence Day holiday, but some long-term work zones and closures will remain in place. Some work zones stopped at noon on July 1 and are scheduled to resume the morning of Tuesday, July 5.

All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.
Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work.

In Carroll County:

Route Z is closed though mid-August for a slide repair project from Route C to County Road 217.
Route E is closed through July for a bridge replacement project at the Turkey Creek Bridge, between Route D and Route PP.
Route V is closed through mid-September for a bridge replacement project at Miami Station Branch Bridge.
Route YY is scheduled to be closed from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. July 5-8 for for pothole patching from County Road 301 to Route J.

In Chariton County:

Route P is scheduled to be closed from 8 to 11 a.m. July 5, for a culvert replacement from Mennefee Road to Decoy Street.
