The average high temperature climbed more than 10 degrees in June at the KMMO Studio in Marshall.

According to statistics from the National Weather Service, the average high temperature in June was 86.6 degrees, up from 76 degrees in May. The high of 98 was registered on June 14.

The average low temperature increased nearly 10 degrees- from 56.6 degrees in May to 65.7 degrees in June. The low of 54 degrees was recorded on June 2.

For the first time since February, the rainfall total was less than three inches at 2.63 inches in June. The most- 1.2 inches of rain fell on June 1. Also, 63-hundredths of an inch fell on June 27.
