
Julia Mae Landreth, age 91, of Slater, formerly of Marshall, died Thursday, July 7, 2022 at her home.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Weiker Funeral Home in Slater, with Jeff Page officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Big Bend Retreat.
Born April 1, 1931 in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Lucille Butler. On January 23, 1951 at the First Presbyterian Church in Marshall, she married Robert Landreth, and he survives of the home.
Also surviving are two sons, Douglas Landreth and his wife Carol of Marshall and Steven Landreth and his wife Barbara of Tyler Texas; a daughter, Joy Bryson and her husband Danny of Slater; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Jo Ann Thomas.
Mrs. Landreth was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Marshall, and had worked for a number of years as a secretary of the Diplomatic Corps of Government before her retirement.
