
Two Boonville residents were killed in a rollover traffic crash in Howard County on Monday, July 11.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as an eastbound vehicle, driven by 20-year-old James Dorman, traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a utility pole and overturned into a tree.
Dorman was flown by Life Flight helicopter but was pronounced deceased at 5:47 p.m. by Dr. Jennifer Hoffman at University Hospital in Columbia. A passenger- 19-year-old Ryleigh Randolph- was pronounced deceased at 5:26 p.m. by Howard County Coroner Trisha Clark.
The crash happened at 4:02 p.m. on Highway 124, one-tenth of a mile west of County Road 409.
