The LaCoMo East Junior League all-star softball team won the state title.

According to information provided by the coaches, LaCoMo East now will head to the Regional Tournament July 21-24 at Pendleton, Indiana.

LaCoMo East will compete against teams from Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

The winner of the Regional Tournament will advance to the Junior League Softball World Series.
