The beginning of the Missouri State Fair “Buckets of Fun” is just around the corner, and Director Mark Wolfe stopped by KMMO recently to talk about the 11-day event.

Wolfe explained the front historic gate has a new look this year.

Wolfe says the staff is always trying to find ways to bring new things to the state fair.

The state fair runs from Thursday, August 11, through Sunday, August 21, at the state fairgrounds in Sedalia.
