The Sedalia Parks and Recreation Department has announced that in partnership with the Missouri Conservation Department, non-motorized boats are now allowed in Clover Dell Lake.

People can now explore Clover Dell Lake in canoes and kayaks. This change is effective immediately.

Parks and Rec officials say, “Our maintenance crew was a huge part in helping us make this happen by clearing out brush for visitors to be able to easily put a boat in the water.”

Parks and Rec officials encourage users to stay safe and wear life jackets/safety gear while exploring or fishing in their boat.
