
Two Virginia residents charged with felonies after a traffic stop on I-70 in Lafayette County on April 6 have court proceedings scheduled.
A Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper’s report says he located 86 pounds of marijuana, 11 pounds of THC edibles, six pounds of THC wax, 172 THC-infused vape cartridges, 2.2 pounds of psylocybin mushroom chocolates and 50 Xanax and 50 Adderall pills.
Arrested were Renard Gayles, who is now 35 years old, and 39-year-old Justin Aundre Dillard.
Each suspect is charged with one count of a felony for trafficking drugs or attempt in the first degree and three counts of a felony for delivery of a controlled substance. Each subject posted $25,000 surety bond on April 12.
The case for each defendant was bound over to the trial division, and each is scheduled to be arraigned at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 18, at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
