An Odessa man who has been charged with a couple of felonies following a reported incident on September 6, 2021, has a court proceeding scheduled.
According to an Odessa Police report, officers received a report from family members of two different child victims of alleged sexual abuse and sodomy during the evening and overnight hours of September 5 and morning hours of September 6. The two victims also say they were provided alcoholic drinks, forced to watch pornography and subjected to sexual acts by the suspect.
Allegedly, Robert Lloyd Triplet confessed to the allegations during his interview with authorities.
Court documents say Triplet is charged with two counts of a sex-related felony and a misdemeanor for supplying liquor to a minor. Triplet continues to be held without bond. A motion for bond reduction was denied by the court on October 21.
Triplet, who pleaded not guilty on December 20, is scheduled for his next hearing at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
