During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Thursday, July 21, Northern District Commissioner Monte Fenner was asked about B.R.O. bridges.

Fenner said several bridges are on the Missouri Regional Bridge Program list.

Fenner said in the last 11 years, the commission has used BRO funding to build eight bridges; and the one that’s on the books in Gilliam to be built next year is the ninth bridge.

Fenner said the county’s Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) will be representing the county.

In other news, commissioners approved a request by Ron Renard for use of the courthouse grounds for the next “Return to the Roost”- Marshall High School all-class reunion event for June 13-15, 2025.
