The City of Concordia has received notice that sewer work for the City of Concordia is scheduled to begin on July 22, 2022.

According to a release, the work will involve flagging operations and potential reduced speeds on Missouri Highway 23 throughout the City. Crews will be relining the existing manholes, requiring digging operations and concrete restoration. The areas involved for this project is the South 12th and 13th Street area as well as the North 2nd and 3rd Street areas.

City officials ask all drivers to stay alert to temporary traffic controls.
