The Concordia Board of Aldermen held a special-session meeting to discuss an abbreviated agreement from Lamp Rynearson for a facilities maintenance plan for the city’s sewer system on Monday, July 25.

City Administrator Dale Klussman said the city put in an application through the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for some American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding. He said if a city has gone through the process of advertising for an engineer plan for the city’s facilities, it requires a 90-day turnaround.

Klussman also said alderman talked about an invoice from SmiCo Services for a video inspection.

The next regular-session meeting of the Board of Aldermen is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Monday, August 1.
