A Warrensburg man charged with several sex-related felonies has a trial set for August 15 in Johnson County.

According to a probable-cause statement, Warrensburg Police officers responded to a report of sexual abuse. The reporting party told officers that a confidential victim had informed her that she was molested by Brandon Whitlock on July 2 and 3.
A forensic interview was conducted with the confidential on July 6 and the girl explained the incidents in explicit details.

According to court documents, Whitlock is charged with felonies for statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy and child molestation. Bond was set at $75,000 cash only.

Whitlock was arraigned and pleaded not guilty in July. His trial is set for Monday, August 15, at Johnson County Circuit Court.
