A 19-year-old Carrollton man suffered serious injures in a two-vehicle crash in Johnson County on Wednesday, August 17.

According to a release from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occoured when Damon P. Hercules slowed down to make a left turn into the crossover and a vehicle driven by Dillon A. Staton struck the rear of his vehicle.

Staton was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by Johnson County EMS and Hercules, who suffered minor injuries, was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by personal conveyance.

The crash occurred at 7:38 a.m on Highway 50 in Johnson County.
