The Slater School Board set the 2022 tax levy during its meeting on Monday, August 22.

Superintendent Dr. Terry Lorenz said the board evaluated the district’s numbers after the tax levy hearing.

Lorenz said the tax levy was set at $4.30 per $100 of assessed valuation.

In other news from the meeting, Mike Schure was sworn in as the newest member of the school board. Schure is replacing Joey Gochenour, who retired.

Lorenz also said Slater Schools began on Tuesday, August 23.
