The Concordia Board of Aldermen considered a resolution to apply for a Missouri Department of Natural Resources grant during its meeting on Tuesday, August 23.

City Administrator Dale Klussman said the board passed the resolution to authorize the application.

Klussman said the grant is a 50/50 grant worth up to $500,000.

In other news, the board approved the purchase of 2016 Ford F250 for the maintenance department for the cost of $40,000. The truck has 34,000 miles and is replacing a 30-year-old pickup.
