The Marshall School Board discussed changes to the tax levy during its meeting on Tuesday, August 23.

In a tax hearing before the meeting, the tax levy did have to go up slightly due to increased assessed valuation. The levy went from 2.8316 cents to 2.8335 cents.

In other news, the board approved the continuation of the physical therapy contract with Fitzgibbon Hospital and the hiring of an additional bookkeeper position.
