The Santa Fe School Board met recently and approved several actions.

The board set the tax levy for the district at 4.9896 cents. This was a slight increase over the previous rate by .0065 cents.

Other approved actions included several district contracts. The Occupational and Physical Pediatric services, as well as the Local Compliance Plan for Special Education services.

Lastly, the board approved the districts’ ‘Safe to Return to School Plan’ as mandated by the federal government’s in the American Rescue Plan (ARP).

In a closed session, the board approved volunteers, update the extra duty schedule, hired a part-time custodian and approved the resignation of Ashley Boehmer and the employment of a  new head cook at the high school
