According to MoDot, a daily lane closure has begun at the Missouri River Bridge at Rocheport.

The closure began on Monday, August 29. Westbound I-70 will be reduced to one-lane from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday though Friday each week for the next three weeks.

The lane closure will allow the contractor to set concrete girders on the new bridge.

There will be no closure on Friday, September 2 or Monday, September 5 due to heavy holiday weekend traffic.

Motorist should expect delays during this time frame. Always use caution through work zones, obey all traffic signs and avoid distractions. Work is weather permitting.
