A Florence man was arrested in Sedalia for three felonies on Monday, September 12.

According to a probable cause statement, Logan Lewis was arrested at 1525 East 6th Street by authorities at approximately 12:07 p.m. Lewis, who was wanted on a previous warrant was observed running into the residence.

Authorities advised Lewis to stop. Lewis attempted to run around a shed, but eventually ran back towards authorities where he was placed under arrest. Lewis advised authorities that he had a syringe, marijuana cigarette and bag of methamphetamine. Lewis then stated that a motorcycle he had ridden was probably stolen, which was confirmed by dispatch.

Lewis was placed under arrest and transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Lewis was charged with felonies for possession of a controlled substance, tampering with a motor vehicle and resisting/interfering with arrest. Bond is set at $25,000 cash or surety.

Lewis was arraigned on September 13. A counsel status hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 27 at Pettis County Circuit Court.
