A 36-year-old Holts Summit man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash in Cooper County on September 14.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Russell Cornelison traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned multiple times.

Cornelison was transported by the Cooper County Ambulance District to University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The crash occurred at 1:55 p.m. on Interstate 70 at mile marker 108 in Cooper County.
