
A Boonville man has been charged with a felony for assault after an incident on September 14.
According to a probable cause statement, authorities were dispatched to a residence in Boonville for a report of an assault. An individual showed injuries created by Christopher Summers. Visible marks were left on the victim. Summers reportedly grabbed the head of the victim with both hands until the physical altercation was stopped by a family member.
Court documents state Summers is charged with a felony for third-degree assault. Summers posted $7,500.00 surety bond on September 19.
A court hearing is set for 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 18 at Cooper County Circuit Court.
