The Marshall City Council discussed the new trash cans and trash on property in the city during its meeting on Monday, September 19.

New trash cans are expected within the next month.

City administrator J.D. Kehrman told the council what private citizens can do to report on trash or tall weeds on private property and the process of enforcing the property and building codes.

Kehrman went on to say that the city would have to give notice to a renter as well as the owner of the property.
