A Boonville woman has been charged with two felonies.

According to a probable cause statement, on September 23, Michelle Daniels knocked on the door of an individual and proceeded to strike the individual in the mouth. The individual and Daniels began to fight in the front yard of the residence and the victim called the Boonville Police Department.

While the victim spoke with police, Daniels opened the residence door and allegedly struck the victim in the face. Daniels then reportedly used a yard rake located on the front porch and struck the victim in the shoulder with it. According to Boonville PD, Daniels appeared to have been drinking which she later admitted to.

Court documents say Daniels is charged with a felony for third degree assault and attempted first degree burglary. A warrant was issued and bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.

A hearing is pending in Cooper County Circuit Court.
