The Marshall School Board approved several motions during its meeting on Tuesday, September 27.

A motion to move $1,073,576.00 from the general fund to capital projects was discussed and approved by the board.

A motion set forth to approve EdCounsel for legal matters on behalf of the district was approved after discussion on whether to hire counsel on retainer or hourly. Ed Counsel charges hourly.

A motion for a declaration of insufficient applicants for certified positions effective July 1, 2022 to include but not limited to librarians, Special Ed teachers, Science teachers, Math teachers and FACS teachers, required by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education was also approved by the board.
