Saline County is scheduled to test tornado sirens on Wednesday, October 5.

According to the Saline County Emergency Management Agency and the Marshall Fire Department, the tornado sirens are scheduled to be tested between 1:30 p.m and 2:00 p.m. This is the last scheduled test of the year.

The tests will be conducted- in no particular order- in Arrow Rock, Blackburn, Gilliam, Grand Pass, Malta Bend, Miami, Nelson, Slater and Sweet Springs.

The test is weather permitting.
