Marshall City Administrator J.D. Kehrman informed the Marshall City Council of demolition projects upcoming in Marshall at the City Council meeting on Monday, October 3.

Kehrman gave an update on the schedule for demolition of the old hospital building.

Kehrman also told the council that the demolition of the building on Arrow Street next to the Saline County Ambulance District would probably begin within a week as all Department of Natural Resources clearances and other reporting requirement have been met by the owner of the building.

The Council approved the full-term appointment of Charlis Allen to the Marshall Housing Authority through October 2026. Allen had been appointed short-term recently to fill a vacated position.
