The Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Public Works approved several action items for water treatment projects during its meeting on Thursday, October 13.

Water Treatment Director Travis Boss reported on information for the first project.

The board approved a motion to request proposals to replace the media filters.

The board also approved a motion to request bids to replace the 16 inch filter effluent valves and actuators. Boss said the valves are leaking and will no longer seal completely.
