Two Green Ridge residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Pettis County on Thursday, October 13

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred when a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Richard Rodriguez was slowing to make a left turn at a crossover and was rear-ended by another vehicle. Rodriguez’ vehicle then rotated and overturned three times before coming to rest in the westbound lanes.

Rodriguez was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center with serious injuries, while a passenger in the vehicle, 42-year-old Brandi Richardson was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center with moderate injuries.

The crash occurred at 7:06 p.m. on eastbound Highway 50 in Pettis County.
