
A Boonville resident has been charged with felonies after assaulting woman, who is seven months pregnant.
According to a probable cause statement, officers from the Boonville Police Department responded to a residence in Boonville for a report of a disturbance.
Authorities report that Brice Key allegedly threw a bag with heavy objects at a pregnant woman’s face, resulting in a bloody nose. Key also allegedly struck the pregnant woman’s abdomen twice before being restrained.
Court documents say Key is charged with felonies for domestic assault in the third degree and endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.
Court arrangements are pending at Cooper County Circuit Court.
