Beginning the week of November 7, the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDot) will be restricting access to the Katy Trail to allow for crews to set girders along the new Interstate 70 bridge near Rocheport over the trail.

MoDot says the Katy Trail will be closed each day from dawn until dusk at the bridge access portion of the trail only. Work is expected to be completed by November 14. The work will not require any additional lane closures on Interstate 70.

The bridge project is scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2024.
