Born April 24, 1955, in Lexington, MO, he was the son of the late Clarence Dankenbring and Wilma Bristow Page.  Deanie lived in Waverly most of his life and was a 1973 graduate of Santa Fe High School in Alma.  On June 15, 1974, he married Patricia A. “Patty” Sassmann who survives of the home.  Deanie was known for his hard work and he owned and operated his own masonry and construction business for many years.  He had a strong relationship with his Saviour and was an active member of Waverly Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, as well as serving in many other areas of the church.  While he dedicated a lot of time to his business, church, and community, his dedication to his family was always top priority.  He loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandkids, and enjoyed the outdoors where he would fish and go camping.

In addition to his wife, Patty; he is survived by three children: Crystal Aversman (Craig), Kelly Moenkhoff (Shaun), and Kendra Michael (Clay), all of Waverly; eight grandchildren: Caitlyn, Cassie and Caleb Aversman, Kaylie, Sadie and Samuel Moenkhoff, and Emma and Elise Michael; three siblings: Donnie Dankenbring and Ronnie Dankenbring, both of Waverly, and Mitzi Dankenbring of rural Malta Bend; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
