The Marshall City Council approved an ordinance providing for election of city officers during its meeting on Monday, November 7, 2022.

According to the ordinance the election was called for April 4, 2023.

The officers to be elected include the mayor, first ward council member, second ward council member, third ward council member and fourth ward council member. The mayor is a four year term and council members are two year terms.

Notice of Election and a sample ballot will be submitted to the Saline County Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on January 24, 2023.

Any individual desiring to file for office needs to do so with the Marshall City Clerk between December 6 and December 27, 2022.
