Sheila A. Beck, 74, of Marshall, MO, died Friday, November 11, 2022, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2022, with William W. Harlow officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Born October 28, 1948, in Marshall, MO, she was the daughter of the late Lowell Allen Barker and Doris Jean Knight Petty. She was a 1965 graduate of Marshall High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Central Missouri State University. On May 12, 1998, she married Charles R. “Chuck” Beck who preceded her in death on June 20, 2021. She was a former schoolteacher, worked at Developmental Opportunities in Salida, CO and retired from the Marshall Habilitation Center. She returned to Marshall in 1996 moving from Salida and was a charter member of Marshall Philharmonic Orchestra and a member of Marshall Community Choir. She was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed working puzzles, crocheting and  watching TV.

Survivors include one son, Josh Rogers (Danielle) of Oak Grove, MO; one daughter, Amanda Alexander (Anthony) of Chillicothe, MO; one granddaughter, Olivia Alexander; and one aunt, Karen (Wansing) Kriesel of rural Marshall.
