The City of Sedalia will be closing the intersection of East 16th Street and South Ingram Avenue beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22 until 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, to repair failed storm water piping under the roadway.
A news release says the utility work will be completed within the intersection resulting in total closure of the East 16th Street and South Ingram Avenue intersection. The work will consist of replacing the large storm pipe under the roadway and restoration of the asphalt roadway. Travelers routinely using this intersection will need to find alternative routes to their destinations during this construction period.
Residents who park along the curb in the affected area will need to find alternate parking either on side streets or off the alley during this period.
This work is dependent on weather conditions and may be delayed due to rain.
