The Glasgow Board of Education approved the Continuous School Improvement Plan (CSIP) at its meeting on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. The CSIP is a five year strategic plan which identifies both short and long-range improvements related to students achievement and describes the evidence-based actions that will be implemented. The CSIP represents the actual commitment by the district to make improvements.

Continuous school improvement planning is a requirement for evaluation as part of the Missouri School Improvement Plan Six (MSIP-6) and impacts accreditation. The plan includes goals and strategies for the 2022 through 2027 school years.

In other news from the meeting, the board set the filing dates for board candidates. Filing begins on Tuesday, December 6 and ends on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. There are three open seats on the school board with three year terms

The board also discussed lease purchase financing for a new HVAC system and lighting for the elementary, cafeteria, middle school and library areas. The board will invite Performance Services and a representative from L.J. Hart to the December Board Meeting.
